  1. Great idea! I've been looking at some blue shelf liner I have and wondering what I could do with it... a door mat maybe?! Thanks! :)

  3. wow...i was trying to come up with ideas for a doormat out of stuff i have at home and this is a great idea. instead of painting it and having the paint flake off, how about coloring it with a black permanent marker like a Sharpie? I'm guessing the ink will soak in so it won't flake? Thanks for the great idea!

  5. Fantastic! I have a mat that is a smidge too large for the rug, so I'll just trim tht little bugger off and have at it. Very, very clever idea. Thanks for sharing.

  6. What a grand idea! I have a piece of that matting which is just a smidge too large for the rug at the foot of the stairs, so I'll trim the little bugger and have at it. Thanks for sharing.

I can get that stuff in black in Australia...actually in every colour of the rainbow.

  11. I too love the mat idea. I also make baskets using the shelf liners. If you need to you can put a toothpast cap or a cap of any kind the size you want your basket to be and cover with the liner.

I make hangin baskets for plants and flowers as well as baby accessory baskets for the bathroom , I make trash cans, hampers, table top covering such as in the center, or for the dining room chairs to spice them up a bit etc...

I make bathroom rugs and placemats. Frames for photos or wall art.

You can even make roll up shades with the liners. I also make shades by adding lace and ribbon to the liners.

There are many things i've made and have forgotten to take pics of before giving them away or swapping them with someone and I wish I hadn't forgotten so now I try to take pics before they leave my house.

I don't think I have pics of these but you can see some of my trash to treasures in my TTT album if you like and I also have aa mini group where you are all more than welcome to come join us if you like as well.
